Cassander "Cassie" Fluharty Raber: b 1817 Monongalia Co., Virginia - d Sep 22, 1904 Glovers Gap, Marion West Virginia. Was buried near Metz. She was listed in a census residing with son Christopher Raber after her husband died.

Her sister Margaret "Peggy" Fluharty married Andrew "Andy" Toothman, a son of Adam "Old Adam" Toothman and Susanna Kerns. Adam Toothman was well known in the area. The Monogalia Story Volume 3 states Adam owned 4500 acres of land. By 1837 at least 562 acres were on Flat Run.

One of William Raber's three brothers, John Wesley Raber (b November 13, 1806 Monogalia County, Virginia/later West Virginia) - d November 15, 1873 Marion County, West Virginia) married Rachel Bell Toothman on April 14, 1836. She was a daughter of Adam Toothman and Susanna Kerns.

The families were very close, and several of them are at rest in Adam Toothman Cemetery, informally known as "Old Adam" Cemetery during their lifetimes, now simply Toothman Cemetery, Fairview, Marion County, West Virginia.
