The First Christian church was the scene of a pretty wedding in the late afternoon today as the twilight hour approached, Miss Alma Helble, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Helble of Princeton, Ia., becoming the bride of Clifford Dombrowskie of 805 East Fourteenth street, Davenport, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dombrowskie.
The service of the double ring was used by the Rev. Charles Byers, who officiated in the absence of the Rev. C.K. Gillum, the pastor.
The bride is a graduate from the local schools and has been teaching the past year. She has studied voice for three years with Mrs. Charlotte Anderson Warren.
Mr. Dombrowski attended Clinton high school and has been studying electrical engineering the past three years. He is now connected with the Schlueter Electrical company of Davenport.

Mrs. Clifford Dombrowskie of 732 East Sixth Street, Davenport, a contralto, will be presented in a recital this evening at 8 o'clock in the Community Hall in Princeton by her teacher, Mrs. Charlotte Anderson Warren of Rock Island. Mrs. Dombrowskie was Miss Alma Helble before her marriage last fall.
She will be assisted tonight by Miss Inez Meyer, who will give readings.
