Philamena "Fannie" Gloria Simonelli Allbritton, age 89, a native of Ithaca, New York and a resident of DeQuincy, Louisiana died on May 7, 2014 in Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was a Christian by faith. She loved to read, shop, sew and was a lover of animals. She served as a Tour Guide at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum for over eight years. She also served with "Meals on Wheels". She loved visiting with the elderly and serving others.

She was the daughter of the late Michael F. Simonelli and the late Mary Peppi Simonelli.

She is survived by her three daughters and one son-in-law; two sons and one daughter-in-law; one brother and daughter-in-law of Trap Hill, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael F. Simonelli and Mary Peppi Simonelli, her husband of 32 years, Leonard T. Allbritton, Sr., one sister, Louise Giddens, and three brothers, Michael Simonelli, Johnny Simonelli and Roy Simonelli.

The funeral services were held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 At Christensen Funeral Home, DeQuincy, Pastor Donnis Ashworth officiated. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
