No memorial services are planned. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.
Mrs. Price passed away New Year's Eve, 2005. She had been a resident of Bivins Nursing Home for several years. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff in Wing F for their kindness and caring of Dixie.
Dixie was a nutritionist at Northwest Texas Hospital for some time, and she participated in the Candy Striper group, where she enjoyed the friendship and the services rendered by many of the Stripers.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.B. Price in 1985.
Survivors include a stepson, Mike Price and family of Colorado, and two nephews, Billy Kelley and Dean Kelley, both of Amarillo.
