She was born Sept. 9, 1916, in Phillips, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Jensen) Henningfield. Agnes attended school in Phillips until her family moved to Marshfield and then attended McKinley High School. She graduated from LeClaire Beauty School in Milwaukee in 1935. Agnes and Robert Britten were united in marriage on June 25, 1946, in Dubuque, Iowa.
She is survived by one son and two daughters; two stepsons; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, LeaAnn, in infancy; one brother, Lawrence Henningfield; and one sister, Lillian Weber.
Private services will be handled by Hansen Funeral Home.
