EVERETT CORNELISON
Everett Cornelison, 81, of 313 Second St., West Des Moines, died of cancer Friday at the home of his son in Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, with burial at Grand River Cemetery in Grand River.

Mr. Cornelison was born in Diagonal and had lived in West Des Moines for many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a retired construction worker with Weitz Construction and a member of the Iron Workers Union and American Legion.

Survivors include three sons, John of Des Moines, Richard of Bevington and Robert of Camas, Wash.; two daughters, Trudy Hunter of Des Moines and Nancy Laxton of Indianola; two sisters, Della Bigley of Des Moines and Lena Leverett of Boise, Idaho; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
