Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, to the late Pablo and Minnie Pan, Pauline passed away peacefully in Hayward, CA, at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold F. Boswell, and her brother William Pan. She is survived by her twin sister, Patricia Hoppe, and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Pan. She was the loving mother of Donna Mashburn (Virgil), Karen Palmer (Mark), and Wally Boswell (Karen). She had 6 grandchildren: Melisa Bodnar (Dennis), Linette Stevens (Kerry), Sarah Madsen (Jacob), Chris, Wesley, and Ryan Boswell, and 10 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kaitlyn, and Isabella Bodnar, Cole, Samuel, Isaac, and Lacey Stevens, and Charlotte, Hazel, and Phoebe Madsen.

She met and married her husband in San Francisco and after Harold returned from WWII they lived in Oakland, where Harold was raised, from 1945 – 1982, first on 68th Ave. and then in Montclair. They retired to Cameron Park, in the California foothills, where they enjoyed swimming in their pool and traveling around the world.

Pauline worked at the Oakland Army Base early in their marriage, then stayed home with her young children and later worked at State Farm Insurance as a verifier of computer punch cards. She was a seamstress her whole life, a wonderful knitter, in retirement she learned how to weave on a floor loom, and she always enjoyed working in the garden.
