Caroline Armistead Martin Clapp 81 of Georgetown died Sunday Sept 5 1999 at Presbyterian Hospital.
A graveside service directed by Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service of Charlotte NC was Tuesday Sept 7 1999 at 2 pm at the Prince George Winyah Episcopal Churchyard with the Rev Tommy Tipton officiating.

Mrs. Class a native of Rockingham NC was the daughter of the late John L Armistead and Mary Frances McCrory Armistead.
She attended Agnes Scott College and Juillard School. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the DeBordieu Colony Club.

Mrs Clapp was predeceased by her first husband Hill Martin, and her second husband Kenneth Clapp.
Surviving are two daughters Mary Martin Witt of Charlotte and Carolina Martin McLoud of Seabrook Island; a brother John Armistead of Charlotte; and 10 grandchildren.
