Sarah Hunter Died Sunday

Miss Sarah A. Hunter, 84, longtime resident of Webster City, died at 5.30 p.m. Sunday at the Hamilton County Hospital. In failing health the past year, she had been a patient at the hospital for the past nine weeks.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev E. G. Brinkmeyer officiating and with burial at Graccland cemetery.

Sarah A. Hunter, daughter of Captain and Mrs. J. R. C. Hunter, was born Oct. 18, 1877, at Oskaloosa, Iowa. She came here with her family when she was three years old.

She attended the schools of this community and grew to young womanhood in this city. For many years she was employed in the millinery and dressmaking business in Webster City.

She is survived by one sister, Joanna Hunter with whom she had made her home at 935 Elm St., and by a large number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mrs. Charley Segar, and one brother, W.G. Hunter.

Miss Hunter was a member of the First Congregational Church and was active in church work as long as her health permitted.
