Mrs. Anna Bess (Simpson)Talkington Ford of Huntington, Arkansas, died on Saturday April 26, 2014, in a Fort Smith hospital. Anna Bess was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield, Arkansas. She was a retired caretaker of the Bank of Mansfield, where she worked faithfully for thirty years. Anna Bess retired in 1988. She was the daughter of the late C.W. and Della Simpson.
Ms. Ford was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her beloved daughter Joanes "Joanie" Elane (Talkington) Bradley.
Anna is survived by three grandchildren; Jeff Coley, Gary Coley, Elane Glenn, three stepsons; Jimmy Ford, Donnie Ford, Randy Ford, and by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon, April 29, 2014, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Anna Bess was a dear lady and a dedicated mother/grandmother/wife and friend. She will be greatly missed.
