IRELAND, Kathryn I., age 92, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 3, 2005 at Heartland of Kettering. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Frank; her grandson Mark Tschirhart; her sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Willard Ireland; and her brother Hubert Jenkins. She is survived by her son Frank Jr. and his wife Betty of Dayton; 5 grandchildren Cathi (Richard) Tschirhart, Edwin Insley, David Ireland, Frank Ireland III, and William Ireland; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a brother Daniel Jenkins of Pontiac MI; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Frank and Kathryn loved to travel, having taken a trip around the world, all 50 states, and most European and African countries. She enjoyed volunteering at Miami Valley Hospital as long as her health allowed. She was a longtime member of Trinity U.M. Church and also a member of the Jonathon Chapter of the DAR. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton. Rev. Ben Lyttle officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11:00 am. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
