Mae Corson Passes Away
Mrs. Mae Corson, a native of Gold Run in Placer County, passed away on Thursday evening in a local hospital. She was 83 years old and had lived in Lodi for more than 60 years.
Mrs. Corson was the wife of the late Augustus Corson. She was the mother of Mrs. Juanita Pope of Lodi and her grandchildren are Mrs. Evelyn Peterson of Sacramento and Allen Pope of Lodi. She leaves a great-grandson, James Henry Pope of Lodi, and she was the sister of Minnie Parker of Jerome, Arizona.
A charter member of Ivy Parlor No. 88, Native Daughters of the Golden West. Mrs. Corson was also active in the Hartford Relief Corps.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the chapel of the Hale and Bawden Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Lodi Memorial Mausoleum.
