She was born April 12, 1933 in Jackson County, KY the daughter of Jesse and Maude Isaacs Maggard, both of whom precede her in death. She is a member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church and enjoyed visiting other churches. She was employed for 23 years at Philco and Ford Electronics and Refrigeration until she retired early due to her health. Her greatest joy was cooking for her family and socializing at McDonalds. She is survived by two daughters and son in laws, Carolyn D & Marshall Mitchell, Connersville; Brenda Kay & John Clark, Connersville; two sons and daughter in laws, Darrell L. & Patty Brewer, Hamilton, OH; and Gary Lee & Cynthia Brewer. Connersville; two sisters Zella Worrell, Connersville; and Helen Duncil, Connersville; 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell, Steven Mitchell, Sherry Werner, Angela Clark, Rhonda Newton, Eric Brewer, Sandra Beard, Salee Ferguson and Tommy Brewer and 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Brewer to whom she was married October 19, 1950 in Connersville. He passed away on January 6, 1999. She is also preceded by a son David K. Brewer; a sister, Clista Steele; two brothers Edward and Raymond Maggard.
