NORTHBRIDGE -- Helen (Wiegersma) Baird, 92, formerly of Cooper Road, a former waitress, died Thursday, May 25, in Beaumont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Her husband, Burton P. Baird, died in 1968. She leaves two stepdaughters, Beverly Gray and Norma Stillwell, both of Torrance, Calif.; nephews and nieces. She was born in Uxbridge, daughter of Ringer F. and Eda A. (VanderZicht) Wiegersma, and moved to Northbridge many years ago. She attended Northbridge schools.
Mrs. Baird was a waitress at Blue Eagle Hotel, Whitinsville section of Northbridge, before retiring.
She was a longtime member of United Presbyterian Church in Whitinsville.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, in the Chapel of Buma Funeral Home, 480 Church St., Whitinsville. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge. There are no public calling hours. Donations may be made to United Presbyterian Church, Memorial Fund, 7 Spring St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.
