Mrs. Marian M. Burling, 57, wife of Carl Burling, was pronounced dead Friday evening about 10 o'clock at Community Hospital where she was taken by ambulance after suffering a heart attack when attending the Paramount theater.
The family home is in green Springs, the Burlings having moved there recently after living in Fremont on south St.
The body is at the Weller-Wonderly funeral home where friends may call. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m., the Rev. J. R. Walter of the First Presbyterian church, of which she was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Burling was born here January 3, 1895, daughter of William J. and Sophia Shively Hufford. She married Carl Burling May 16, 1921 in Fremont.
She was a member of the Kenneth Kreillick Navy Mothers' club.
Surviving besides the husband are a son, Bruce C., two grandsons, a sister, Mrs. Edna Flocken and two brothers, Sherman and Arthur Hufford.
Mrs. Burling was preceded in death by a son, Bryce Earl, four sisters and a brother.
