Isaac was married to Susanna Burkholder at Blenheim, Ontario on July 30, 1843 by S. Bining, and the first six of their known children were born in that province.
Along with several his siblings and their families, Isaac came to Greenwood Township, Saint Clair County, Michigan where they settled onto farms and are shown on the 1860 US Census.
By the following census, Isaac had moved his family to Starke County, Indiana and five years later, was in Reno County, Kansas.
By the 1880 census, both he and his wife are listed on the Schedule of Defective, Dependent and Delinquent Classes at Plevna in Reno County, which is where they both most likely passed away as they are not found on any records afterwards.
