Daughter of David & Elizabeth Coots Barry. Kate & her family, at one time, lived on a farm in Spencer Co., KY called "Normandy". She was the mother of E. B. Norman, J. V. Norman & A. E. Norman Jr. Kate was the grandmother of J. Colgan Norman, E. B. Norman Jr., J. V. Norman Jr. & John C. Norman.
Note- There is an Emma Gertrude Norman buried in the same section and lot as Kate. Emma was born ca 1880 and died in 1897. She is possibly Kate's daughter. The 1900 census shows that Kate had had 4 children with 3 living. Emma's death record shows her place of burial as "Normandy". Emma is FAG#129184517.
