Daughter of Ora Oris & Maude Marion Brush Fuqua. Miss Fuqua, aged 18, died at the Clay County Hospital of pneumonia and appendicitis. She would have graduated from Brazil High School in May. She is survived by her parents, a brother and seven sisters, Ivan, Lola, Mary, Dorothy, Rosalind, Bonnie and Donnie Fuqua and Mrs. Helen Flowers. Her brother, Ivan Fuqua won the Olympic Gold medal in the 1932 men's 1,600 meter relay.
