Chester Raymond Ostrenga, 82, W5722 Sobieski Road, Wallace, died May 23, 2010, at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette, WI. He was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Chicago, IL to the late Stanley, Sr., and Anna (Kozikowski) Ostrenga.

On April 18, 1948, he married Virginia Dawydko in St. Adelbert's Catholic Church, Menominee.

Chester ran his own dairy farm for 50 years in addition to working at Menominee Paper Mill for 33 years. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and a former member of St. Mary's Mission Church in Sobieski.
He enjoyed farming, hunting fishing and gardening but especially enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife Virginia Ostrenga of Wallace;
one daughter, Barbara Beaudo, Wallace;
one son, Daniel (Paula) Ostrenga of Wallace;
four grandchildren; twin great-granddaughters;
two brothers, Stanley, Jr., (Connie) Ostrenga and Arthur (Vicki) Ostrenga, both of Wallace,
nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Lawrence (Ted) Beaudo.

Visitation: May 26, 9-11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Birch Creek; Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.; Fr. Joseph Vandannor, officiating; burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
