He was a member of Woodmen of the World and a member of The First Nazarene Church.
Preceded in death by first wife, Ruth Billingsley Guyer.
Survived by sons: Ronnie and Gale. Wife: Almeda Guyer. Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

"Ralph Guyer, 93, died May 13 2002. A 49-year member of GCSAA, Mr. Guyer began working at Westborough Country Club in Kirkwood, MO., when the course was opened in 1928. He was appointed superintendent at Westborough in 1952, and remained at the course until his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Guyer was also a member of the Mississippi Valley GCSA. Mr. Guyer received his 30-year pin in 1983, his 40- year pin in 1992.
He was preceded in death by Ruth, his wife of 62 years. He is survived by his wife, Alameda and his sons, Ronald and Gale."
