Thomas J. Ludy, 63, of rural Waterloo, Indiana, died Friday, November 21, 2008, at his home.

He was a self employed truck driver contracted with Ashley Transport for 45 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Born June 1, 1945 in Geneva, Indiana, he was the son of Elmer and Lela M. (McGue) Ludy. He married Emma L. Colpeart
on October 10, 1969, in Decatur, Indiana; she survives. Also surviving are one son, Patrick A. (Heather) Ludy of Spencerville, Indiana; one step-daughter, Lori A. (Billy) Abbott of Angola, Indiana; two sisters, Judy Grogg of Delphos, Ohio and Janet Fleming of Devils Lake, North Dakota; two brothers John (Freida) Ludy of Fremont, Indiana and Bill (Marilyn) Peters of Van Wert, Ohio; and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Don Keller; one brother-in-law Jerry Grogg; and three grandchildren.

Memorial service is 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Feller Funeral Home, 875 S Wayne St, Waterloo, Indiana.
