Funeral Services for Henry L. Wissink Held Monday

Henry L. Wissink, son of Lambert and Ella Wissink, was born a farm near Holland, Nebraska where he grew to manhood.

On January 21, 1914, he was married to Lydia Essink and settled on a farm near Holland, Nebraska.

Tot his union four children were born all of whom survive. Hilda, Mrs. Arthur Ten Haken of Hull, Iowa; Martin of Hull, Iowa; Lawrence of Sibley, Iowa and Marvin of Hull, Iowa.

In 1926 the family moved from Holland, Nebraska to a farm south of Hull where they resided until 1948 when Mr. and Mrs. Wissink moved to the town of Hull.

Mr. Henry L. Wissink passed away on August 29, 1958 at the Sioux Center hospital.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife, four children, 17 grandchildren, one great grandchild, his aged father, Lambert Wissink of Holland, Nebraska, two brothers, John and Gerrit of Firth, Nebraska, three sister, Mrs. Sophia Ther Maat of Holland, Nebraska, Mrs. William Beyer of Sheldon, Iowa and Mrs. Henry Noteboom of Whittier, California, besides a host of friends and acquaintances.

He was preceded in deathby his mother, one brother Martinus and one sister Marie, Mrs. Raymond Mills all of Holland, Nebraska.

He was active in the community in which he lived. For a number of years he was director of school district No. 1 of Welcome Township, tought Sunday School when his health permitted and served the Building Committee of the First Reformed Church of Hull.

He made confession of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ with Mrs. Wissink at the age of 22 years at Pella, Nebraska. He has been a very faithful and active church goer and worker all his life.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home and the First Reformed Church of Hull, Rev. N. Rozeboom officiating.
