"Nellie R. Mayfield, 79, widow of Arvel E. (Doc) Mayfield, died Saturday in a St. Petersburg (Fla.) hospital.

A native of Middletown, she moved to Largo, Fla., seven years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star at New Augusta.

Survivors are a son, Gerald Ellison, Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Ellison, Largo; a brother, Fred Roadcap, Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Indianapolis."
