Vivian I. Shakespeare,94, of Meth-Wick Manor, died there Saturday after a long illness. Services: 3 p.m. Monday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery . Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home and after 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel.

Survivors include two nieces, Myrna Carter of Cedar Rapids and Mary Tonne of Mount Vernon; three nephews, George Shakespeare of Palo, David Shakespeare of Toddville and Clifton Shakespeare of Cedar Rapids.

Vivian was born April 3, 1898, in Delta, the daughter of George and Permilia Porter Shakespeare. She attended Washington High School. She worked at Merchants National Bank, later at Standard Glass and Paint Co., and for 20 years, prior to her retirement in 1968, she was a financial secretary at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and a member of the Bell Choir there. Vivian was a member of Business and Professional Women of Cedar Rapids and Marion. She was a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital.

The Revs. Lloyd Brockmeyer and Robert Dennert will officiate. Memorial donations may be given to the Bell Choir at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
