The funeral of Alfred W. Sharper, age 77, who died in his home, 520 North DeQuincy St. on Wednesday night, will be held in the moore & Kirk Mortuary at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in Washington Park Cemetery. He had been ill for seven months.

Mr. Sharper was born in Fredericksburg, Texas and had lived in Indianapolis for 56 years. He was an employee of Kingan & Co. for 35 years.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Eugenia Sharper; a son, Raymond W. Sharper, Indianapoli9s; two daughters, Mrs. Norman E. Metcalf and Mrs. Thornton Cordeill, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Molly Russ, San Antonio, TX; plus five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
