Ada E. Benischek,78, of 2102 Evergreen St. NE, died in her home Saturday, Aug. 14, 1993, after a long illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 1993, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Wesley Bruss. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery . There will be no visitation. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include four sisters, Gloria Babinec of Milwaukee, Ellen Stack of Converse, Texas, Hazel Carlson of Phoenix and Lyda Foster of St. Paul, Minn.; and a brother, Ira Kleinschmidt of Milwaukee.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.

Ada was born June 28, 1915, in Cadott, Wis., to Charles and Margaret Kleinschmidt. She married Marvin C. Benischek on Sept. 20, 1941, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cudahy, Wis., and celebrated 51 happy years of marriage. Marvin died in 1992. Ada and Marvin operated an income tax service for many years, until illness took over and they had to cease business. They were well-known by many people and will be greatly missed.

Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Mercy or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
