Carl K. Kraus
Carl K. Kraus, 85, of 113 Sweeting St.,
died Monday at Veterans Administration
Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Kraus was a life resident of
Syracuse. He was a member of Holy Trinity
Church and its Holy Name Society and
Poor Souls Union.
Surviving are his wife, the former
Freda Botz; a son, Charles F. of New
Orleans, La.; 17 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday
at John E. Casey Funeral Home, and at 10
a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass
will be celebrated by the Rev. John J.
Daley. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today
and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home, 1234 Butternut St.
