She is preceded in death by her parents; Al & Elizabeth Bow, husband: Jack Eakes, children: Jack Eakes, Gabby Eakes, and Debbie Turner; siblings: Margret, Ruth, Jean, Ralph Cullen, Albert, and Danny; grandchildren: E.K. Epperson and Joey Eakes. Lois leaves behind her daughter; Judy (Eddie) Epperson, brothers: Larry (Judy) Ackley, Lonnie Eaton, grandchildren: Jackie Eakes, Jennifer Shelton, Jennifer Epperson, Debbie Epperson, Penny Turner, Jimmy Turner, Ed Epperson, 10 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces & nephews to cherish her memories. Family would like to send special thanks to; Stephanie Goddard, Sherry (Keith) Hunter, Nightingale Hospice. Services will be 11:00AM on May 2, 2014, with visitation on May 1, 2014 from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services 1604 W. Morris St, Indianapolis, In. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery following funeral services.
