Following Memorial's death, Nancy and her children migrated to Posey County, Indiana with her children. Son's Thomas Endicott Forrest, John Milton Forrest, and son-in-law Adam Goodlett Doom (h/o Lovicy Gresham Forrest) purchased land in Des Moines and Lee Counties, Iowa 1837 and 1840. In 1849, Nancy lived with Lovicy and Adam, when they purchased land in Davis County, Iowa. After Lovicy died, 1855, Nancy moved to Jefferson County, Iowa, living with her son John Milton Forrest, until her death in 1858. She is buried in the Forrest Cemetery, north and west of Abingdon, Jefferson County, Iowa.
