Obituary: Funeral services were held Wednesday Afternoon for Mrs. Emily Myers, widow of the late Richard Montgomery Myers, who died at her farm home six miles east of West Plains late Monday evening. Her death was the result of a complication of Illnesses.

A native of Evansville, Indiana where she was born December 18, 1874. Mrs. Myers came to Howell county with her husband in 1897 from Ozark county. She came to this section with her parents from Fulton county in Arkansas when she was quite young.

Survivors of Mrs. Myers include six sons and one daughter, Mrs. Janie York, C. L and R W Myers all of West Plains, W F and L W Myers of Oklahoma City, T A Myers of Muskogee Ok., W F Alldridge of west Plains, brother of Mrs. Myers also survives her, as do several grandchildren.

The Rev. Earl Lamons of West Plains was in charge of the funeral services which were held at 2 o'clock at the Langston cemetery. The Manze quartet supplied the appropriate music.
