Sarah was the daughter of Moses Rich, a soldier of the Revolution, and his wife Lydia Davis Rich. Memorials have been created for Moses (Find A Grave Memorial 100527145) and Lydia (Find A Grave Memorial 100527453) but I am unable to link with them as these memorials lack any documentation, but do connect Sally with more distant ancestors.
Moses Rich's Will connecting Sarah from Contributor: LARI (48601648) ;
"Williamstown, MA [Estate of Moses Rich, Berkshre Co., MA Probate Volume 22, page 37, FHL film #876298] Williamstown February the 6, 1792. Then received of Moses Rich the sum of twenty two pounds ten shillings. Received by me [signed] Benjamin Jeffards, Sarah Jeffards; [witness] Elijah Rich - Noble Clark; Joseph Jeffords, Isaac Holmes - .... At a Court of Probate holden at Lenox within and for the County of Berkshire on the fifth day of May A.D. 1818 before the Hon. William Walker Esq. Judge of said Court. The above and annexed Receipts [...] received and ordered to be recorded and the originals returned. [signed] William Walker Sources Vital Records of Williamstown, Massachusetts; named Sarah Rich in the will of her father Moses Rich.
