Gerald Rosenberger,81, of 3420 Oakland Rd. NE, died Saturday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Iowa City, of natural causes. Memorial services: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Turner Chapel East, where friends may call after noon Tuesday. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery .
Survivors include two sons, Steven of Amana and Michael of Fox Lake, Ill.
He was born Sept. 7, 1911, in Woodland, Ill., and attended Oakland Road Bible Assembly Church. He attended George Williams College, Chicago. He also served during World War II in the Navy. He was employed by the Central YMCA for 43 years, where he was Health Club Director prior to his retirement in 1976.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry.
A memorial fund has been established.
