James F. Boyls, Attorney At Law, died at a local hospital Sunday, January 14, 1940, at 6:30 pm in his sixty-sixth year. Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Lillie Lamme Boyls of San Antonio; three sons, Felton W. Boyls and Turner L. Boyls of Los Angeles, California, Guy Keith Boyls of Cincinnati, Ohio; three daughters, Miss. Fannie M. Boyls of Washington, DC, Mrs. Vir N Jones of New York City, New York, Miss. Emma E. Boyls of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Luker of San Antonio and Mrs. John D. McCall of Beaumont, Texas, and two grandchildren.
Mr. Boyls' funeral will be held Wednesday, January 17 at 2:30 pm, with Rev. M.B. Boucher officiating—arrangements by Roy Akers, funeral director.
