Services for Robert Alford, 70, Indianapolis, IN; will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Ebenezer Baptist Church. Calling will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Stuart Mortuary.
Mr. Alford, who died Tuesday at his home, he worked 15 years for Indiana University Medical Center and Wishard Hospital, retiring in 1985. Previously, he worked 10 years for Volkswagen.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Marie Bellamy Alford; daughter, Walterine Dodd; half-sisters, Ernestine Willoughby, Lois Cannon, Laura Winfred; one grandson.
Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery.
