Joseph Frank Winstead, 76, Route 3, Rogersville, died Tuesday evening, October 6, 1987, at the Hawkins County Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Henard's Chapel Church and a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Walter Winstead.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Winstead, Rogersville; a son, Joe Winstead Jr., Pleasanton, California; two grandchildren; a sister, Bennie Burton, of Rogersville; a brother, Luther Winstead, Jefferson
City; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 9, at Henard's Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. John Parrott Jr. and Richard Cassidy officiating. Burial was in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
