Melchior Frantz Frosch, 91, of Lafayette, died at 11:48 AM Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at Rosewalk Village. Born in Lafayette on Feb. 18, 1914, he graduated from Jefferson High School and was a lifelong resident. He married Margaret Cox on May 14, 1938, in Lafayette, and she survives.
Mr. Frosch was a supervisor of food stores at Purdue University for 42 years before retiring. He enjoyed Purdue University sports, the Chicago Cubs and Bears and Jefferson High School basketball.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, James Frosch (wife: Elaine) of Culver and Michael Frosch of Studio City, CA; and a daughter, Shirley J. Dawson (husband: Steven) of Lafayette.
