Addie A Robinson
On Saturday January 9, 1918 occurred the death of Mrs. Addie A. Robinson, of West Pierrepont at the home of her son in South Pierrepont where she was visiting for a few weeks. She had been in failing health for several months. On the day before New Years she fell and broke her hip. from that time she failed rapidly until the end. The funeral was held at Beech Plains church Monday January 21st. Rev. C. Roop officiating. Interment in Beech Plains cemetery where five generations of he family are buried.
Mrs. Robinson was born in Westford Vt. Feb 13,1848. She was the daughter of Reuben and Delight Hulburd and a twin sister of the late Addison Hulburd
In 1863 she moved with her parents from Vermont to Beech Plains and has lived in and around Pierrepont every since. In 1870 she was married to John F. Robinson who died seventeen years ago. Three children were born to them, two dying in childhood.
Besides her son Leo J and three grandsons she leaves a step daughter Mrs. Albert Johnson of Shirland Illinois a sister Mrs. Alice Fulton of west Pierrepont and several nephews and nieces.
