Mrs. Bessie New, 30 years old, wife of Mr. Harvey New, died at her home near Oak Hill Saturday. The funeral services and burial were at Oak Hill Sunday. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters and four sons. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. The family has the sympathy of many friends.

It was a great shock to the community Saturday evening when they heard of Mrs. Harvey New's death. She was sick only a few days. She was a Christian woman and was loved by all who knew her. The funeral service was held at Oak Hill church conducted by Rev. Wesley Colyer and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery there. She leaves a husband and eight children, four girls and four boys. We extend our heart-felt sympathy to the bereaved family.
