SENF, Roy A.
A long time resident of West Sacramento, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2014. Born on April 1, 1917 in Sacramento to Roy A. and Gertrude Senf. He married Alta Elfrink in 1948. They spent 62 years together. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Burt Senf, and daughter Adoree Nevis. He is survived by daughter Sharon L. Curtis (John), son Henry Senf, daughter-in-law Doris Senf and son-in-law Dan Nevis. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and special cousins. Following in the steps of his fore- fathers, he was the owner of Senf Trucking Co., originally founded in 1883, serving many businesses throughout Northern California. He had a sense of adventure, a passion for the great outdoors, and an appreciation for all wild life. Services will be held at George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 2691 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, with a viewing at 10AM and services at 11 AM.
