Marilyn Jean (Laubscher) Bivins, 75, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at Riverpointe Health Campus.
Jean was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 8, 1938 to the late Herbert and Dorothy Laubscher. She graduated from Reitz High School and worked as a Caterer for many years.
Jean is survived by her son, Rick Bivins; granddaughter, Misty Keown; great-grandchildren, Katie Brown, Kylee Brown, Kearston Hicks, Kendall Hicks, Kendra Powell, Cole Powell, Kynzie Keown, Chace McGraw and Sarah Kunze; and by her sister-in-law, Norma Laubscher.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Everett E. "Gene" Bivins in 1993; son, Gerald Bivins, by her parents; and by her brother, Harold Laubscher.
