Ardie Graydon Anderson was the son of Ballard Franklin and Bettie Florence (Arbogast) Anderson of Webster County, WV. He married in 1930 Meredith Parthena Pritt, daughter of Ulysses "Grant" and Ida "Dell" (Cutright) Pritt. He was the father of six sons and one daughter. Edwin "Hilton" (1932-1985), Ardie Franklin (1934-1935), Robert "Glenn" (1935- ), William "Ross" (1938-1979), Violet "Louise" (1942-2000), Edward "Donald" (1943-1995), and Ronald (1950-2013 ) ANDERSON.
