Anna Louise Evans (1931 - 2014)

FRANKLINVILLE - Anna Louise Evans, of North Center Road, Lyndon, died Saturday (April 19, 2014) at the home of her son following a long illness.

Born on Dec. 11, 1931, in Elkgarden W.Va., she was a daughter of Ray and Myrtle Lyons Jones. On June 26, 1948, in Kitzmiller Md., she married William Evans, who survives.

Mrs. Evans was a 30-year employee of the Buffalo Psychiatric Hospital, from which she retired.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking and cleaning. She loved all holidays.

Surviving besides her husband of Lyndon, are two sons, Clifford (Carol) Evans and Darl (Louise) Evans, both of Lyndon; a daughter, Mary (Charles) Stewart of Rushford; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Albert (Cathy) Evans; two sisters, Dorothy Kitzmiller and Betty Friend; and a brother, Ray Jones.

Burial will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville.
