Phillip S. Harriman died at Chelsea, Mass., Sept. 14, where he had lived for the past 45 years. Before retirement, he worked for the American Barrel Co. He was born in Berlin, N.H., Feb. 9, 1891, the son of Allen O. and Mary Blackey Harriman, and lived at one time in the Conway area. Mr. Harriman is survived by a daughter, Dorothy, who lives somewhere in the West, a brother, Edward Harriman of Conway and four sisters, Mrs. Grace Taylor of Dover, Mrs. Myrtle Davis, Mrs. Rebecca Baldwin and Mrs. Amber Wiggin, all of Conway. Funeral services were held at the Second Congregational Church in Conway Sept. 17 with the Rev. William E. Mack officiating. Committal services were at the Dearing[sic] Cemetery on the West Side in Conway. Richard G. White of Conway was in charge of arrangements.
