Lewis Glenn Wright, 66, of Brownwood, Texas, and formerly of Brady, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, in Brownwood.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Marion Cemetery in Fife, Texas, with Reverend Gaylon Morris officiating.

Lewis was born in Menard, Texas, on November 13, 1947 to Sam Wright and Mamie (Wells) Wright. He grew up in Menard, but spent the majority of his lifetime in Brady before moving to Brownwood in 2004.

Lewis loved watching football and was a huge Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns fan and could name players and positions from years past. Growing up, he also loved to watch his brothers play football. He loved to fish and was also a huge Elvis Presley fan and loved to sing along with any Elvis song.

Lewis is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Orville Wright, Sr.

Survivors include; two brothers; Lexie Sam Wright, and wife Mary, of San Angelo, and Norris Wright, and wife Helen, of Powderly, Texas; sister-in-law Sally Wright of Brady; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to The Special Olympics.
