Frank's Patterson and Hopewell families were early settlers in Hunt County,Tx.The Pattersons in the Celeste are, and the Hopewells in the rural Greenville-Kingston area.
Frank grew up in Celeste, Tx, and also spent a lot of his childhood years with his Aunt Marie in Dallas. Frank's mother had passed away with typhoid when he was only 8 months old. He was drafted into the army during the Korean War and served his entire Army Career at Red River Arsenal in Texarkana, Tx. After the army, he returned to the Santa Fe Railroad in Dallas where he worked 41 years until his retirement to Celeste.
Frank married Nealy Jo Landers December 31, 1955 in Dallas, and to this union were born four children.

Later he married Myrna Del Toro from the Philippines and they had one child, Kristie Lynne, born Aug. 31, 1994
Cause of death: Heart attack.
Frank's only brother, Dudley, preceded him in death in 1999 of a heart attack. He was 75 years old. He also passed away in Celeste.
