Died as the result of a gas attack he suffered in the Battle of Soissons in France a year previously. Son of Donacia Trujillo.

Enlisted 18 May 1917 with his brother Jose F. {Memorial 128468119}. PFC in Company "G" 16th Infantry, 1st Division. Shot through the chest at Soissons, France, 18 July 1918.

Spent two months in hospital. Last work was guarding German prisoners after recovering from wounds. Discharged at Fort Logan, Colo. 24 February 1919.

Died 25 September 1919 from disease as a result of wounds. Awarded Silver Star, General Order # 1, 1st Division, 1 January 1920.
