Vera Flanagan Graham, 82, of Mt. Ulla, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville. Born Nov. 21, 1921 in Young Harris, Ga., to the late Thomas W. & Wadie Sampson Flanagan, she was a homemaker and member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church.

She was married to Harry James Graham, who preceded her in death. A brother, Robert Flanagan, and a sister, Louise Chastain, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Dennis J. Graham of Mt. Ulla; a brother, Thomas Flanagan of Young Harris, Ga.; a sister, Marie Gibson of Gainesville, Ga.; two grandchildren, Jason and James Graham; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, with Vicar Judy Tavela officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before church service, 10 to 11 a.m., in church fellowship hall.
