Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a sister, Loretta Mut Butler; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Opal K. Mut; parents, Alfred Joseph and Emma Irene Mut; four brothers, Edgar J., Henry R., Melvin E. and Lester M. Mut; and a sister, Johnnie Mae Carter. He was a member of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, Ushers Society, Knights of Columbus Council 2807 and Baton Rouge Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
