Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. William Ludric Anton, 79, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Mr. Anton was born in Memphis Tennessee, a son of the late Eugene And Myrtle Boehm Anton. Mr. Anton was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, retired from Memphis Police Department with more than 25 years of service and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Jefferson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Anton was preceded in death by his wife, Jaylyn Jay Anton. Survivors include, Son and daughters-in-law, Bill and Carol Anton of Senatobia, MS, Billy and Latricia Anton of Longview, TX, Son, Greg Anton of Southaven, MS. Son, Kenny Anton of Norman, OK. Son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Carolyn Mason of Jefferson. Daughter and son-in-law, Kris and Bolling DuBose of Jefferson, Brother, Buddy Anton of Walls, MS, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday April 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Evans Memory Gardens with Dr. Keith Cudd officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church, P.O. Box 427, Jefferson, Georgia 30549
