Lyle W. Smiley, 412 West A, died in Norton Sanitarium yesterday morning after three years illness. Mr. Smiley was a former automobile painter here. He was 29 years old.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Bessie (McMillan) Smiley, a son, Kendall, and two daughters of the home; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Waggoner, 711 East 11th; four brothers: John Smiley, Inman; Howard Smiley, Sacramento, Calif.; Earl Smiley, 403 West 11th.; and Lester Smiley; a sister, Mrs. Paul Overend, San Francisco, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Elliott-Gard chapel. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery." per his obit.
